A Christian’s worship is to be keenly focused on God the Father through Jesus Christ His Son by the power of the Holy Spirit for WHO God is and WHAT God has done.  God Himself is to be the object of our worship. 

(Ex. 20:3-7; John 4:20-24; Rom. 12:1-3)


Worship is NOT music!!  It should be an intense, vertical concentration of one’s life praises, thankfulness and submission (read: obedience). 


Music can be used vertically to the Father, and horizontally to encourage others through psalms and songs and hymns.


Worship is only to be directed to God.
