Weekly Sunday Service Blocks… Sunday Event Job Details  Every Sunday it takes many hands to prepare the meeting room for a worship service, then turn it around for a lunch, and finally to reset it back as we found it. It’s one of the joys of meeting in a rented space! Please find the details below as to what each job entails. We sign up for a block a month, and you can sign up by e-mailing info@hopefamilies.org! Hope’s Service Blocks: Room Block job hours… • show up by 8:45 A.M. job description… • turn on heating units (if needed) and unlock doors • set up serving tables • set up chairs in arced rows in service area • set out plants (trees from shed) Hope’s Service Blocks: Signs Block job hours… • show up by 9:00 A.M. job description… • set out street signs (pointing traffic to Hope) • pick-up signs (after the lunch) Hope’s Service Blocks: Communion Block job hours… • show up by 9:15 A.M. job description… • set up communion tables • prepare and set out communion elements • pack-up communion elements & tables after service Hope’s Service Blocks: Childcare Block job hours… • after lunch job description… • supervision of children after lunch • recruit a couple of adults &/ or teens to help w/ this each week Hope’s Service Blocks: Lunch Block job hours… • between the service and the lunch (on days when lunch is served at the church) job description… • supervise the folding, stacking and moving of the folding chairs • supervise the rearrangement of the lunch set-up tables to become the serving lines • supervise the cleaning, folding & stowing of lunch tables mailto:info@hopefamilies.orgshapeimage_4_link_0
